So far I've had good experience with the Pro Plan of Wetransfer. It's not as cheap as some things out there like Fromsmash, but I've noticed that their bandwidth is almost always better. Uploads and downloads are never limited by their servers and only by my fiber internet. Being able to make transfers last longer is great so that clients will not have to ask for another link. I can also pay for a year with plenty of warnings to cancel renewal on time, which was super easy. Finally a company that's not so secret about when you can cancel. So far I trust this website to send and recieve from my clients, and the price isn't too bad.

A company that does not provide any kind of customer support; unfortunately, I had to cancel the subscription.
The upload of the files always reached 99%, even after hours of waiting.

No, I have been able to get in touch with anyone. Apparently, this is not a service for professionals.

Can't get access to my account. Blank page in each browser. No chance to get contact support, useless chat bot.

So annoying everytime I want to send a file, I have to have a nearly naked fat man with a bra and knickers in a huge photo off to the right of screen and text telling me that "She" is celebrating "her" womanhood by, dressing nearly naked, cause, you know, that's what "women" do to "be women." More like sexist, mysogony on display in order to be 'woke', they get this bloak who clearly has a fetish to appropriate his fantasy elements of what he thinks it is to be a 'woman'. and i'm fed up of having companies think somehow ANYONE wants to see or engage in this. It's tanatmount to blackface, so just stop. I am not interested in fat INCELS and their own autogynaphilic perversions. Just let me TRANSFER A FILE.

MY RESPONSE TO WE TRANSFER: The artist in question is a man who has a sexual fetish to dress as a naked woman, a simply internet search on him will show this, and he has a very questionable history. Go celebrate him dressing in bikines with his fat hairy, dispecable flesh on a porn site, leave him off yours which is public and people only want to send files. Your content is inappropriate, unwanted and unartful. Noone wants to see that guy.

This company is tricky. I was using the Free app, but somehow they started charging my AMEX card.
A representative of Apple was supposed to help me to cancel the paid subscription (which I never asked for), instead she advised me the wrong way to cancel it. So it was as if I wanted the subscription.
I found this a couple of days ago through a nice, honest representative of APPLE. She did apologise for the woman who guided me 😑 wrong!
I’m very disappointed.

Sometimes whenever I go to upload my footage, it'll say everything is uploaded and then suddenly I get an email saying "Something went wrong and your transfer wasn't sent. We’re going to do better next time." I've gotten this 4 times and this doesn't even count on how many times my team member has dealt with this too. It's very frustrating because it can take a whole day or two to upload files. Not only that, if your internet goes down or there's a sudden reload on your computer, none of the files you spent time uploading will lock in place. You have to start over. Everything has to upload or nothing at all.

With Google drive or Dropbox, at the very least, previous files that uploaded will stay in place and you can just begin uploading the last file again.

Now for their plans... They knew what they were doing with their advertisement for their Premium plan. They say "No size limit on transfers" ,
"Unlimited storage per team member". It's actually a 5TB plan for storage. You can SEND unlimited amount of data as long as you delete old files and that it's under 5TB. I guess you could send one large link bigger than 5TB, but you may have to contact them for a file transfer like that. It's confusing and they know it.

I want to cancel with them and get my money back (my subscription doesn't end until July), but unfortunately I have to reorganize and move a lot of files out before my account can be canceled.

Also, you cannot open folders and preview files - they have to be downloaded from WeTransfer to preview the videos.

I've wasted so many hours - days with WeTransfer. From the errors I receive during or after an upload to the confusing advertisement and then simply not able to preview video files before downloading from team members.

they are just scammer they never paid for the file translation i dont know why they are scaming with innocent freelancers

FANTASTIC. I have been using this free and PAID off and on for years. I don't know what that guy Simon is on about. It's SO easy to use. It's so defyingly easy I can't even think why anyone would/could give a negative review. It's fast, reliable and my recipients love the ease of cross platform downloads ie. Mac or pc, and, and wherever they are, they can download. Of course you need good wifi, as with anything your streaming/sending/uploading/downloading. I work with heavy video, heavy creative files gigs and gigs i.e BIGGGG, and with the stupid 10mg gateway that most regular work users have on email, this is a lifesaver for me. I don't even need to second guess.. AND best of all I can send them a link to download, AND they receive an email from WeTransfer. Moreover, I know whether someone has or hasn't downloaded, which helps with my workflow to remind people it's there.

There is so many other more user friendly sites than wetransfer. The interface and whole experience is horrendous and way to complicated compared to other sites..

Be careful they're not stealing your work? None of the issues is listed, so I got no help there, I sent a file and the recipient did'nt receive the file and I didnt get a confirmation email. So I tried sending a tester not my own material, it worked no problem, but the file I sent earlier which is my work, still not been sent. Tried to find out where my file as gone and apparently its ended up on their bounce list, Really, so they can take a sneak peek, where is my file? not happy at all.
Like everything these days post pandemic, its great to begin with, but be warned at some point, they'll rip you off. :-(

I understand that you want to put the black culture upfront, but I think that almost only putting black people upfront is annoying.

Just having the worst experience with them. For some reason I can never send files and I’ve tried everything it says might be the issue on their troubleshooting page. Nothing works all I get is the sodding page of “oops there’s been a problem”. I try to report my issue on their website but the dam robot doesn’t have the right buttons and then when you get alllll the way to end of one button line it’s ridiculous to try say your own issue. Has starred questions I can’t get the answer to so just can’t get help off anyone. Waste of time.

I have been using this website for years, never had any issues. The easiest way to send large files.

It is so bad, it's almost unbelievable.

First of all, you get interrupted by ads and subscription options WHILE ENTERING YOUR TEXT then it just doesn't work half the time for no reason, when you redo it, it works after waiting for the email code a second time. I am truly done with this, even tho I was instructed to use it by my employer.

I had so much frustrating moments linked to this site, please please please use something else instead! This site must die.

I had a friend that wanted to send me a large file. I downloaded it but I can't play it. I don't recommend it.
